Event highlights, sporting events and festivals in Berlin in June

Berlin once again has a lot to offer in June. The Special Olympics World Games will be held in Berlin for the first time this year. Other highlights include the Fête de la Musique, 48 Stunden Neukölln, Re:publica and the Berlin Poetry Festival.

Berlin Triathlon
01 - 02 June 2024
The Berlin Triathlon will take place for the 18th time in June 2024, starting at the Insel der Jugend in Treptower Park in Berlin. In addition to the classic Olympic distance and the sprint distance, the Berlin Triathlon 2024 will also feature a children's triathlon and a super sprint distance.

Berlin Book Festival
08 - 09 June 2024
Berlin's Bebelplatz will be transformed into a huge open-air bookshop with an extensive stage programme at the book festival.

Long day of urban nature
08 - 09 June 2024
Since 2007, the Berlin Nature Conservation Foundation has been focussing on Berlin's biodiversity once a year. 500 events take place at over 150 locations. Natural history canoe tours, bird song walks, honey extractors and many other unusual guided tours and hands-on activities make experiencing flora and fauna in Berlin a great event.

Köpenick Summer

The Köpenicker Sommer will be colourful: visitors can look forward to music and entertainment on the Schlossinsel.

Berlin Dragonboat City Cup
15 June 2024
The 25th Berlin Dragonboat City Cup takes place on the Olympic regatta course in Berlin-Grünau. More than 70 teams from all over Germany will compete.

Fête de la Musique
21 June 2024
On the day of the beginning of summer, 21 June, Berlin celebrates the Fête de la Musique. On stages and in many streets throughout the city, musicians take part in the celebration free of charge and perform their music.

Long Night of the Sciences
