In the heart of Neukölln 149 small apartments with living areas between 30 and 65 sqm are being constructed. Each apartment will get a fitted kitchen with electric hob and ceramic hob, extractor hood, fridge, sink and kitchen furniture. Real wood parquet will be laid in the living rooms and in the hallway. Underfloor heating will be installed in all apartments. In the bathrooms radiators are additionally installed with practical towel holder function. A locking system increases security. At each entrance, a bell plate made of stainless steel with a camera attached. Motion detectors automatically switch on the exterior lighting. The entrance doors of the apartments are made of burglar-resistant solid wood with multiple locking, security fittings made of aluminum and door peephole. If possible, the apartments are heated district heating. Otherwise, a gas central heating will be installed. The plans for the new building also provide for a commercial unit. The completion of the project and thus the reference skills are planned for the 4th quarter of 2020.
