The area around Mittenwalder Strasse is popular for its cafes, restaurants and small shops, especially antiques shops. Centrally located, but in a quiet side street, next underground station will be reached in a few steps. It takes only some minutes to go to Kudamm, the shopping and business centre of Berlin. The charme of Kreuzberg is also to be seen by bike, along the river Landwehrkanal or in the favoured area of Bergmannstrasse.

28 apartments were renovated in this typical Berlin multi-family building in the protected Bergmannstrasse-North district of Kreuzberg. The units in the front, back and side wings were transformed into attractive apartments. The attics of the front house were fitted out as representative duplex penthouse apartments. The historic "Remise" utility building in the courtyard was revived to new life with new colours and materials and was also fitted out as a double-story unit. Renovation measures also included all the technical installations (heating, water and electric) and the construction of balconies, which were mounted onto the facades.
The historic lobby was returned to its former splendour by exposing the hidden stucco ceiling decorations to once again serve as the representative entree for the revitalised property. An elevator is planned for the front building. All apartments can also be bought furnished for an additional fee.

A high-light of the ensemble is the "Remise", a former utility building with its timber-framed construction. Several maisonettes of different sizes were refurbished. Most of the apartments have living areas with open kitchen. Guests will feel fine here, too. The built-in kitchen is equipped with branded materials. The bathrooms have either a shower or a bath tub and it is possible to hook a washing machine. Often there is also a lumber-room available.
